Enchanting Melody

The heart again searches for such soul stirring songs. Listening to good music would definitely make you musically more matured and increase your judgment skills. Junk food definitely tastes good and fills the stomach, but it is not good for the health. Given the situation, no one can totally avoid eating junk, but one can try to eat healthy sometimes at least.

Bhoole Bisre Geet

This song is from 'Chambal ki kasam'. Listen to the Magic of Khayyamji and the Lyrics of Sahir Ludhianvi. Can't stop praising showers on them for their work. Those who have fallen prey to fake music, kindly open your ears to the Real Music!

Baad may jaane kya hua Boollywood ke sangeet ka?
This song, composed by Lakshmikant Pyarelal, is from the film Mehboob ki Mehendi which was released in the year 1970. Nearly 40 years old and amazingly sounds better than any other new song.

Radio as Alarm

Those were the days when we used to wake up to the tunes of Noor Jahan, Shamshad Begum, Talat Mehmood, K L Saigal, Mukesh, Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhosle, Manna dey, and Mohammed Rafi, as Radio Ceylon used to play old songs early in the morning. New songs were introduced only after 8.am. Most of us during that period were listening to the old and also the new, making ourselves comfortable with the past and also the present. Always listening to Healthy music brought a sense of Maturity and discipline within us. I would like to share a song from the film Anmol Ghadi, which was very popular and the most requested song of those days. It still sounds fabulous!
